The day of the castaways was full of challenges. Each one of them is striving to win the challenges. Especially with the challenges that has a reward of immunity bracelet. But the difficult part of each tribe is that they have trust issues with their tribe members. Because of this it was very hard for them to communicate with each other. Trusting was very hard for them. Meanwhile, Host Richard Gutierrez called all the castaways. After having them gathered around, Host Richard announced that there would be an additional member to their tribe. Host Richard then called on Jon Hall and Akihiro Sato. Both the actors were part of the Survivor for the previous season. Jon and Akihiro will take part in each tribe. Either the new member would bring the tribe up or will pull them down. The show was entirely shot in Malagnang Island, San Vicente, Palawan. It is for the first time that Survivor Philippines will be having it in the home country. Even if the game is in doubles, it was said during the first day of airing that only ONE SURVIVOR will remain. And he or she will receive a grand prize amounting to Php 3, 000, 000.
