Maria Hernandez (Erich Gonzales) together with her mother - Sandra Hernandez (Assunta De Rossi) finally moved on with their lives. Maria did not let her heartaches rule over her and so she decided to do things she wants to do specially in furniture designing. Reminiscing that Maria was psychologically affected in the past when she knew that her ex-boy friend - Luis Dela Vega (Enchong Dee) is her brother. Maria's mother - Sandra was always at her side taking care of her because she knows that she is the reason behind why Maria was psychologically affected. Maria pursued her talent in making furniture designs wherein it is very successful and she became popular. Meanwhile, Luis is very happy married to Sabrina Dela Vega (Jewel Mische) with their adopted daughter. Luis didn't know that their adopted daughter is Maria's long lost child. Maria got a lot of customers who are very interested with her furniture designs. When Maria together with her mother - Sandra already went home, Sandra asked Maria if she is just okay after being asked about her past love life by their customer. Maria then told her mother - Sandra not to worry about her because she don't care about her past love life anymore. Maria only cares about her daughter in which she had no idea where to find her. Maria left her daughter at the hospital where she gave birth because her mind was very disturbed at that time.
