Young Dong Yi (Kim Yoo Jung) was successfully given the chance to enter the palace. Her childhood friend, Ge Dwo Ra (Choi Soo Han), bade farewell. Ge Dwo Ra told Dong Yi to be safe. Dong Yi then reminded him not to eat rotten meat to avoid having abdominal pain. Both of them were crying. S Dong Yi walked-in to the Palace, she was amazed by the view inside. She was then called b the man who brought her to hurry. Dong Yi was hired to work as a helper assistant in one department. One time, she saw an instrument which reminded her of her family. She remembered her father Choi Hyo Won (Chun Ho Jin) and her brother. She remembered the moments they were teasing her because she does not have any skill with that instrument. She was very happy back then. But now she lives alone for herself. Dong Yi grew up in that place. She became very busy as an assistant to everybody. But she got no choice but to follow them for her to stay in that place. Dong Yi (Han Hyo Joo) gives help to everybody. But her department head also notices her being a happy lady. He worries because this might bring problem for her. Meanwhile, Dong Yi was playing at the instrument at late night. She did not know that the King (Yoon Chan) passed by that time and heard her playing. Bu the King did not know that it was a lady and a slave who was playing the instrument. So, he sent out an order to look for that person because his feelings become light when he hears the music. Meanwhile, the King is troubled for the consecutive problems they are having. Some advisers approached him for letting him know about the consecutive meteor showers. They have known that it was a bad sign. They also informed him that Court Lady Jung had already left the palace. They are afraid because the last meteor fell inside the palace. Then the King told them to calm down. He understands their emotions and concern. So, he told them that he have a gift for them. The man opened it and was amazed by the thing inside the box. He then asked the King from where it was. The King then smiled and told them that it was made from the meteor that they were afraid of.
