Kara (Sarah Lahbati) went to the place where the people were celebrating the New Year’s Eve. The people were very excited for the upcoming event. Only a minute was left for the year 2012 to come. They then had a countdown. When it was already the time, the fireworks then started to play. Kara was very shock of what was happening. It was her first time to celebrate New Year in the city. She was very frightened. She was walking away while covering her ears. She did not know that there was a man at her back. When she looked at the person, she was surprise to see Carl (TJ Trinidad). Carl was also speechless. Carl told Kara that the fireworks display is not going to hurt her. It is only intended for the said event and they usually do it at that season of the year. Kara was just listening to the explanation of Carl. They both gazed at the fireworks display. While Kara was so busy looking at the show, Carl was also busy looking at her. After that Carl was already brought about by his feelings. He gave Kara a stolen kiss on the cheek. Kara was shocked. Carl asked apologies to what he did. As time goes by, Carl did not notice the time. He was very busy about Kara. He totally forgot about Elizabeth (Vaness del Moral); Elizabeth who was waiting for him that New Year’s Eve. When Carl went to fetch Elizabeth, she was already very drunk. She then asked Carl where he came from. She did not wait for his response. Insteqad she started nagging him and telling him about her thoughts. She knew that he came from Kara. She then told him that he should go back to where that Kara is. Because she knows he is happy there. Meanwhile, Renato (Gary Estrada) told his yaya that he is very sure that the woman he saw was Angela (Jessa Zaragoza). He was separated to her for how many years because of the witch had done unto him. He would make sure that he would bring back his family. He would strive hard to look for them.
