The public criticized the presence of President Noynoy Aquino at a party of the officials in the government. They say that it is not good to look at a president partying while a part of his fellowmen are suffering. The spokesperson of Malacanan Palace then said that the president only dropped by. And even had a talk with the officials regarding the situation. Sisters of President Noynoy also defended him. They said that the party had long been planned and the happening of Sendong is an unusual situation. Kris Aquino also said that all the government agencies have been doing their jobs and it is not that easy for his brother, the president, to just go there. President Noynoy is not an ordinary person and could not just go and appear in places instantly. He also has lot of things to do. Meanwhile, the DENR said that the situation of Cagayan and Iligan are very low. They also said that during the event of typhoon Sendong it was also a high tide. Sen. Jinggoy Ejercito denied the rumor that a coup de tat is happening in the Senate. It was said that during a party, that somebody heard Sen.
