Jade Dimaguiba (Kim Chiu) together with her father - Chen Sy (Richard Yap) are going to Cebu. Chen and Jade are going to look for a potential place to build the Twin Dragon restaurant for an expansion. At the Dimaguiba's house, Jade's mother - Zenaida "Zhenie" Dimaguiba (Ai Ai Delas Alas) wants to know if Jade accepted to be the person to handle the auction of stock shares for the Twin Dragon company. Jade told her mother - Zhenie that she doesn't want to handle the stock auctions because she is not that confident about it. Meanwhile, Chen is preparing his things with the help of his wife - Jean Sy (Cherry Pie Picache). Chen then asked Jean if she is already sure not to go with him and Jade to Cebu. Jean then told Chen that she will not go with them because she is not going to enjoy there also. Chen then asked Jean what will she do while he is away and then concluded that Jean might go to the Casino again. Jean told Chen not to worry about her because she is not going to play at the Casino anymore. Jean also told Chen that their daughter - Amethyst Sy (Lauren Uy) will be with her all day so there is no need for him to worry. Later on, Jean called Edison Wu (Ricardo Cepeda) telling him to do what he needs to do with the stock auctions because Jade and Chen will be away for awhile. The day after, Edison is talking to someone about the stock auctions wherein he wants to make sure that nobody will know about what he did.
