The Chief of police was disturbed when he had known from King Sukjong (Ji Jin Hee) that a certain Dong Yi Choi did not treat him like a king. He then made a thorough investigation to where he could find the lady. He really wanted to see her. He went to the Bureau of Music to get the certain Dong Yi Choi. He wanted to interrogate her. But he was dismayed because she was not there at the office that time. A soldier then approached them. He told him about a medicine man who was killed. When he got there, he saw in the list that a certain lady form the Bureau of Music from the palace was also put into interrogation. He found the name as Dong Yi. He was right in time when Dong Yi (Han Hyo Joo) was being interrogated by the man. He then saved her. The chief then said that what Dong Yi answered him was right. Dong Yi was very shocked when she saw the chief. She remembered his face so well. After the chief saved Dong Yi from the interrogation, he then commanded his men to bring her to his office. Dong Yi was much tensed. She did not know what to do. She was thinking if the chief might have still recognized her face. But she was not sure about that. Six years had already passed. And by that time, her face had already changed. The chief then asked her something. The chief shared to her that she is looking for a certain lady whom he met six years ago. The lady was still a child by that time. He directly asked her if it was her because they have the same surname and first name. Dong Yi then denied all the allegations of the chief to her. It could not be possibly her because at that time, she was in the province. She was a servant to a house in that time.
