King Sukjong (Ji Jin Hee) told the chief of police to stop the investigation of a certain case. As the two were talking, they came to a topic wherein the king had just recently taken action. King Sukjong then said that she would have never done that without the help of the help of the woman who was with him. The king then mentioned the name of Dong Yi (Han Hyo Joo). The chief of police was alarmed. He then asked again what the name was. The king happily answered that the woman was Dong Yi Choi. The chief of polices was disturbed. He remembered the little girl he once knew. She is surely a lady right now and she could be possibly that woman the king was referring to. Meanwhile that night, Dong Yi was very wide awake in that time. She was trying to climb up the wall. The king heard an unusual noise. He tried to check on it. King Sukjong was smiling when he saw what Dong Yi was doing. Dong Yi was surprised when she saw ‘the chief of police’. (The king did not introduce himself as King.) (King) Sukjong then asked her what she was doing. He thinks it is another joke of hers. Dong Yi then shared to him that their King had sent her gifts. She was very happy of what she received. She was also very happy of the jewelries the king included in the gifts. She really believes that their King is very good and generous. (King) Sukjong agreed on what Dong Yi was telling him. After that, Dong Yi then told him that she was already gong since it was already very late at night. As Dong Yi left, King Sukjong was smiling and that smile never left in his face.
